대작 스릴러 <리볼브>, MBC 드라마화 계약





고즈넉이엔티(에이투지엔터테인먼트)의 범죄 스릴러 소설 '리볼브' 가 드라마로 선보인다.


장르소설 전문 출판사 고즈넉이엔티는 최근 MBC와 '리볼브' 의 드라마화 판권 계약을 체결했다고 11일 밝혔다. 지난해 창사 60주년을 맞아 제작된 블록버스터 스릴러 ‘검은 태양’에 이어 이번 작품 '리볼브' 가 MBC 스릴러 드라마의 계보를 이어갈 수 있을지 주목된다고 회사 측은 강조했다.


한국 유일의 스릴러 소설 브랜드 ‘케이스릴러’ 시리즈의 최신작 '리볼브'는 범죄소설 작가로 잘 알려진 이종관 작가가 2년 여에 걸쳐 집필한 작품이다. 소설은 서울청 광역수사대의 다혈질 형사반장 강두만이 자신이 쫓던 연쇄살인마에게 도리어 위협을 받고 살해 위기에 몰리면서 벌어지는 사건을 다루고 있다.


국내 범죄 스릴러 애호가들에게 호평을 받은 '리볼브'는 과학수사로 연쇄살인마의 흔적을 추적하는 서스펜스와 박진감 넘치는 형사들의 리얼리티가 절묘하게 결합되었다는 평가를 받았다. 특히 수사 현장에 대한 묘사가 탁월하고 전문적이어서 작가가 경찰 계통의 종사자가 아니냐는 직업적 관심을 불러일으키기도 했다.
